The new HSK test is opened mainly to adult Chinese learners. The test scores are used to meet the various demands of different organizations or groups of people as follows:
A.To offer a reference for educational institutions to recruit students, classify students as well as exempt students from some courses and grant credits;
B. To offer a reference for employers to employ, train and promote their employees;
C. To offer a reference for Chinese learners to understand and enhance their ability to use
Chinese;
D. To offer a reference for Chinese training institutions or organizations to
evaluate teaching standards and the effectiveness of various training.
